Sean buys a new Skeletor-indorsed car for his family, which transforms the show into Car Talk for a few minutes.

Kevin and I (and Paris) have fun NCComicon-style, there’s a small Interstellar review, and I finally buy a PS4 so I can play Assassin’s Creed Unity.

Lately, everyone’s upset about one thing or another, and we’ve collected our thoughts about one slice of the “Offensive Pie” – How to not piss off folks who don’t fit in the gender binary. There are several ways your conversation can go wrong when speaking with someone who is transgendered, non-heterosexual, et cetera. The good news is that your intent can be a life saver.

We also discuss things from the other side of this “divide” as folks who fit the binary, but who also want to educate themselves, make everyone feel welcome, but also don’t want to be yelled at for trying 🙂

This week, MHMG welcomes the lovely and talented Vane Ryan (Sean’s better half) to the show to join Sean and I in discussing the success story of their relationship. You can chart the progression of their entire meeting, dating, moving in, and getting married if you listen to past episodes of the show 🙂 Vane explains how she narrowly avoided kissing Sean on the first date, mixing well with all of Sean’s crazy friends (i.e. Us!) and making life-altering decisions based on the heart – which is often a scary concept.

Michael is back in the USA just in time to help me celebrate the legalization of gay marriage in North Carolina! I join a 12-step program over Alien: Isolation, and I have concerns about the upcoming Justice League and Wonder Woman movies.

I explain the “White Girl Crack” of the Pumpkin Spice Latte, we talk way too long about dry-ass turkey at Thanksgiving, and I fail at finding the Matt Smith nudes – and Michael is surprisingly no help.

Michael’s playing this great new game called Skyrim, because it’s 2011, and he offends people with his Halloween blackface and his Hitler Youth haircut. 🙂

We finally talk about dating and relationship issues after about an hour and a half, so pretty much on par for the show.

Prompted by a listener email, we discuss some of the things that might be happening if you’re getting the first dates, but not the second date. It could be nerves, sticking your foot in your mouth, or maybe it’s for the best. Not everyone is going to like you, and that’s a good thing.

Also, we obsess over those text and message dots like it’s our job. WTF?

We flip tables over the scourge of the earth – SPIDERS! and how irritating it is for people to share how awesome their significant other is over social media. No, we’re not bitter 🙂

We’re back, recording from the home studio (or kitchen – whatevs) of Paris and The Business, LLC!

Apparently, I’m the only person in the whole wide world who eats Brach’s candy corn pumpkins, which can’t possiby be true.

Additionally, we were all terrible at summer camp, IMDB doesn’t mean what Kevin thinks it means, and Paris learns what a grundle is, and is forever changed.

Kevin breaks down the question of Looks vs Personality by comparing it to Random Encounters vs Boss Battles in video games. The better looking folks may have more random encounters, but good personalities can get you to the boss battles, which are the one’s with the best “item drops.”

Oh, and The Business is the “Quiet Storm” for no reason whatsoever.

Sean Ryan’s wife left town for the weekend, and while she’s away I set up my Mating Habits Recording Studio in Alpha Counter’s Recording Studio…it’s like Podcast Inception!

Mating Habits is going to Tilt Expo! We’re bringing more freebies to our appearances – namely, buttons (or “badges” for our European listeners) and THERE WILL BE SPEED DATING!

I invent a new term for grainy, illicitly cell-phone shot, SDCC trailer footage – “Bigfoot-age:” You know you saw and heard the trailer, but no one else will believe you.

We discuss the Batman v Superman trailer from SDCC, our Wonder Woman hopes and dreams, and how angry is Xena that Wonder Woman stole her look?

My crush-rotation/”Maybe” pile is empty, and Sean helps me figure out what’s going on with my feels, and hopefully work out a plan for the future.

Sean flips tables over RTI (Random TARDIS Insertion) on t-shirts, and I’m angry about Apple’s refusal to let me put my music on my other Apple devices. Apple, you’re not my mom!

We’re back! Paris and The Business, LLC lend me their “studio” in this rambling episode where we discuss what to do if your friends and family don’t like your significant other, or what might be going on if you don’t like your friends’ significant others – 60 minutes into the show (in true MHMG Fashion).

We wax poetic about our favorite Netflix Originals; The Business, LLC has a fangasm over Dark Secrets, and we examine what happens when all the neckbeards don their fedoras and cry like babies over the latest Thor news.

Also, Dashcon was kind of an epic fail…a funny epic fail, but an epic fail all the same.

A spider tries to kill me and take over the show, and I flip tables over fan-entitlement, and The Business definitely doesn’t want to do work at your house.
